Welcome to my page! My name is Megan Viera and I am currently a student in Professor Timothy Dalton’s class Writing in the Social Sciences. As you look through my site, you will find the entire process needed for my big paper. This includes the research proposal, my field notes essay, as well as the interview and self assessment. Being a social scientist is definitely not what I expected, but it has been a pleasant surprise to learn what is required to be a social scientist as well as becoming one. I have enjoyed my time in this class and thanks to Professor Dalton I see the world through a new lens; through the lens of a social scientist.
